Position Category: Permanent, exempt, full-time, 11-month contract
Position Summary: Texas Center for Arts + Academics (TCA+A) is seeking qualified and passionate educational leaders to join our Administrator Pool for the 2026–2027 school year. This posting is intended to identify strong candidates for current and future administrative opportunities across our campuses. Our administrators play a vital role in supporting student achievement, fostering a positive campus culture, and ensuring alignment with the mission of providing a rigorous academic program integrated with outstanding arts education.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Supporting campus leadership in implementing instructional and operational goals
- Assisting with supervision, evaluation, and development of faculty and staff
- Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture that supports student success
- Supporting implementation of curriculum aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
- Assisting with campus operations, student services, and program management
- Ensuring compliance with district policies, state requirements, and applicable regulations
- Collaborating with principals, directors, and central administration to support organizational initiatives
- Assisting with student discipline, parent communication, and campus engagement efforts
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office and classroom equipment, including Smart Board, computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting and standing; occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 25 pounds)
Environment: Works in an office setting; works irregular and/or prolonged hours; works inside and outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather); exposure to noise; occasional travel
Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position
Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions
MinimumRequired Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university required;
Degree in School Administration preferred
Experience: 3 years’ successful teaching experience required
Official Transcripts: Required, if hired;
Foreign transcripts must be equivocated through an approval agency

Attach a copy of your valid Texas Mid-Management certification or Principal Certification
