* Job Summary:

** Instructor of English, focused on the teaching of composition and technical writing. Requires firm commitment—shared among all faculty—for teaching composition in a humanities-based English program. The ideal candidate will have experience mentoring developmental, Dual Credit, and/or ESL students and demonstrated excellence in teaching. MA in English or related field required.
** This position is being hired for the Fall 2026 semester.  
**** Work Performed:
*** Teach 5 English composition and/or technical writing courses per semester each Fall and Spring semester. Courses may vary between in-person and online, depending on departmental needs.
* Faculty service (e.g., committee participation, assessment).
** Necessary

Qualifications:

** MA in English or closely related discipline.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Enthusiasm for and demonstrated experience in teaching English composition, technical writing, and/or English as a Second Language.
* Ability to teach a range of composition and technical writing courses.
* Pedagogical creativity and innovation a plus.
