Reading Program Coordinator, Alpha

Overview

Required:

Master’s degree in reading instruction OR advanced reading certification (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent). On-site in Phoenix (Scottsdale), AZ;
Austin, TX;
Fort Worth, TX;
Plano, TX;
Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico. $100,000 annual salary ($50/hour), weekly pay. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits from day one. Relocation assistance provided.

• Facilitating focused, high-impact reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency
• Creating individualized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks
• Reviewing student performance data to improve instructional methods and generate actionable recommendations
• Partnering with engineering teams to assess and refine AI literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes
• Building scalable, AI-integrated content that supports early elementary learners in reaching grade-level reading proficiency

• Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to conventional curricula—academic subjects are taught through AI-adaptive applications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master’s degree in reading instruction
• Minimum 2 years of experience facilitating small-group reading interventions for K–2 students
• Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student engagement patterns within them
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements
• Able to work on-site at one of our locations:
  Phoenix, AZ;
  Austin, TX;
  Fort Worth, TX;
  Plano, TX;
  Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. See  for details.
