Non-Tenure Track Adjunct Instructor; Social Work - Pool

Position: Non-Tenure Track Adjunct Instructor (Social Work) - Pool
* Teach up to 7 undergraduate/graduate SCH per semester (less than 50% FTE)
* Maintain and manage student records
* Post grades (assignments, mid-term & final) in a timely manner
* Submit attendance reporting
* Mentor and assist students
* Post and maintain office hours for a minimum of three (3) hours per week
* Attend student class orientation as needed (if required by the hiring department)
* Attend clinical/simulation/studio meetings as needed (if required by hiring department)
* Other duties as assigned by the department head
** Faculty Credentialing*
* ** Requirements:
*** Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level.
* Knowledge of online learning management systems.
* Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
* Sufficient knowledge of the subject area being taught.
* Knowledge of a variety of teaching methods to provide effective learning experiences.
* Technical competence in appropriate subject matter and the ability to apply this knowledge to the solution of problems.
* Understanding of the learning and development processes of youth and adults.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, staff, and community members.
