The Outreach and Engagement Specialist is part of the team that will help build the Center for Educator Excellence. The Outreach & Engagement Specialist will leverage identified Education and Training CTE high school students in 17 districts across Tarrant County and local community colleges to provide targeted prospective student‑to‑teacher candidate recruitment.
The Outreach and Engagement Specialist is responsible for recruitment and admission of freshman and transfer students from Tarrant County and surrounding towns/cities to Texas Wesleyan. Primary duties include recruiting students, working closely with prospective new students and parents in the support of the transition to Texas Wesleyan University. The Specialist builds relationships with high schools to increase college credit enrollment by assessing the needs of off‑campus high school students and school districts.
