Founded in 1959 and named for the Trinity River that flows nearby, Trinity Valley School is an independent, nonsectarian, college-preparatory school. Enrollment includes more than 1,000 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 on a 75-acre campus in Fort Worth, Texas. Trinity Valley School is seeking qualified and enthusiastic substitute teachers for all grade levels (Early Childhood through Upper School). Substitute teachers will maintain a productive classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of instruction and care of students.

• Report to assigned division and check in with office staff.
• Take attendance. Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher.
• Accomplish curriculum objectives and goals outlined in lesson plans.
• Manage classroom effectively to encourage student participation.
• Minimize distractions and maintain a cohesive and consistent learning experience for all students.
• Provide effective and appropriate supervision of students.
• Ensure adherence to all TVS procedures and policies.
• Exemplify a professional attitude with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Uphold a strong commitment to confidentiality.

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in education.
• Flexibility and critical-thinking skills.
• General knowledge of several subjects.
• Fully support the four main objectives of the TVS Mission Statement.
• Ability to adapt plans to specific classroom.
• Previous classroom experience.
