Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity - Fort Worth, TX
Acclaim Multispecialty Group, in partnership with John Peter Smith Hospital (JPS Health Network), is recruiting a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a high volume, dynamic program in Fort Worth, Texas. As Tarrant Countys safety-net hospital, JPS evaluates over 127,000 ED patients and 60,000 urgent-care visits annually and serves as the only Level I Trauma Center in the county. The teaching hospital supports 18 residency and fellowship programs and is nationally recognizedranked the No.?1
hospital in the U.S. by Washington Monthly and honored with an A in patient safety from Leapfrog. You'll be one of two fulltime cardiac surgeons, supported by a dedicated OR team, fellowship-trained anesthesia, and PA coverage, performing CAD, valvular, aortic, TAVR, ECMO, and robotic thoracic surgeries.

Job Details:
- Surgeon joining will be one of 2 full-time surgeons responsible for coverage at the JPS Main Hospital
- Perform adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including coronary bypass, complex valvular surgery, aortic surgery, TAVR, ECMO, and robotic thoracic surgery. Dedicated cardiac surgery OR team, fellowship-trained/board certified cardiothoracic anesthesia, and full-time PA coverage.

Required Education and Experience:
- Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Completion of Residency/Fellowship within Cardiothoracic
Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
- Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
