Korzen Health is seeking a full-time Traveling Physician to join our team.
This position will provide coverage to Healogics Wound Care Centers across the United States.

For over 25 years, Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospital-based wound care centers across the country. Currently, Healogics treats over 300,000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. Healogics is the world's leading expert in wound healing.

This position is based in our outpatient wound care clinics and is exclusively dedicated to procedural wound care. Our standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours. All patients are seen by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted. Our clinics are integrated within existing hospital facilities, and the physician will be employed by Healogics.

This is a procedure-oriented environment primarily serving geriatric patients. The successful candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in their core specialty and possess a strong procedural background.

Recent experience in wound care and procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), or surgical procedures is required. Procedural case logs will be required as part of the credentialing process. Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training are provided. A full clinical team will be in place from the start date.

Scope of Practice Highlights

  • Full Team support includes Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support
  • We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including:
    Cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing.
  • Standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours.
  • There is opportunity for growth into leadership positions
  • Each assignment will be 3-6 months long.
  • National travel is required.
  • Travel expenses will be covered

Experience Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Must have active Board-Certification.
  • Must currently possess a clear and active Medical License and a DEA License in multiple US states.
  • Must have previous wound care experience.
