Position: Dental Hygienist — Full-Time

• Provide preventative dental hygiene care and education to patients.
• Collaborate with the patient care team and ensure exceptional lifetime patient care.
• Participate in the Hygiene mentor program and utilize educational offerings to enhance clinical skills.
• Support daily operations and contribute to a patient-centric environment.

• Current dental hygienist license in Texas and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and maintenance.
• Clinical needs as required by the office.

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
