POSITION OVERVIEW:

This candidate will work directly with the Director of Creative Services or the Associate Creative Director in the creation of packaging and marketing assets for our Private Brands and will assist with any creative or production needs for the Mid-States brand. The ideal candidate is a print production expert with a tireless attention to detail, who can take initial creative and extend it across various sizes and formats.

This candidate should also be able to provide production support for our private brand websites and social media accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply an established design and extend it across various formats, creating files that are print-ready for various types of printing. Projects will range from packaging to POP/POS to print collateral, and more
• Create social media content based on existing templates
• Prep assets for websites - this could be anything from optimizing images to creating banner graphics to updating product pages
• Daily collaboration with the Creative Services Team, Private Brand Mangers, Marketing, and Category Management Teams to execute projects across all platforms
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines, follow through on commitments and effectively manage multiple priorities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND

EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field (preferred but not required)
• 3+ years (flexible) of hands-on design and production experience
• Experience in print production for consumer packaging is a plus
• Possess a well-rounded expertise in print and digital production with an eye for detail, color, typography, and composition
• Experience in creating assets for social media
• Well-versed in digital AND print design processes (including large and small format printing)
• Well-organized, detail and solution-oriented; exceptional time management skills
• Positive attitude - the ability to take constructive feedback and apply it accordingly
• Tireless attention to detail
• Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Adobe CC (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat), Wordpress, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point
• Farm & Ranch industry experience is a plus, but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean environment. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping and significant fine finger dexterity.
