Estimator, Construction, Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

We are seeking a Mid–Senior Level Construction Estimator in the DFW market to support a growing construction business with a strong pipeline of commercial and residential work. This role is ideal for an estimator who wants to grow with the company, take ownership of the estimating function, and help build scalable processes for the future. The estimator will support high-volume bidding across projects with minimal travel required.

• Prepare accurate estimates for projects ranging from $50K–$2.5M
• Support monthly bid volumes of $15–$20M
• Perform quantity takeoffs and convert unit quantities into complete estimates
• Gather subcontractor pricing, vendor quotes, and material costs based on unit pricing
• Maintain and update estimating data, unit costs, and historical pricing
• Support estimating efforts across commercial platforms and residential projects
• Assist with refining estimating processes and supporting future business growth

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience (mid to senior level)
• Strong experience with unit-based estimating and quantity takeoffs
• Background in commercial construction estimating preferred
• Experience with residential subdivisions, multi-family, or site work is a plus
• Proficiency with Agtek software
• Familiarity with Trimble (Bid to Win)
• Ability to manage 7–10 bids per week in a fast-paced environment
