Webber is seeking a dynamic Construction Manager to oversee water/wastewater construction projects from start to finish, ensuring schedules and budgets are followed.

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation.

The Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate water/wastewater construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed.

What You Will Do
  • Provides leadership in initial planning by collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and others; develops detailed description of jobs and materials necessary to complete the project.
  • Schedules and coordinates projects to meet deadlines within budgets.
  • Prepares and submits budget estimates and communicates with clients concerning budget progress and costs.
  • Ensures adherence to the budget and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Plans, coordinates, organizes, oversees, and directs activities regarding the construction and maintenance of assigned structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite and that all safety codes are met.
  • Selects, contracts, and oversees contractors for specific needs.
  • Supervises contractors and subcontractors to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Oversees contract negotiations, revisions, and additions and adherence by all parties.
  • Collaborates with clients, supervisory staff, contractors, and design professionals to resolve problems including work procedures, complaints, and construction or design issues.
  • Manages and leads actions due to delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Who You Are: A Profile of Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering (required).
  • 7–10 years of water/wastewater construction experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Procore or Bluebeam is highly preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Ability to be flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment; good under pressure and able to manage delays.
  • Ability to multitask and analyze problems.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and construction drawings.
  • Spanish language ability preferred.
