Salary $135,000 - $165,000 per year

We are seeking a Chief Estimator to lead a high‑performing estimating team specializing in retaining wall solutions. This subcontracting division handles high bid volume across single‑family, multi‑family, commercial, and select municipal projects.

• Oversee all estimating activities for retaining wall projects, including concrete and MSE wall systems.
• Work directly with construction plans to design and estimate stone, block, and engineered retaining wall structures.
• Interpret Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEP plans to produce accurate estimates.
• Train, mentor, and assign workload to Estimators while tracking progress and performance.
• Coordinate engineering requests and monitor progress through completion.
• Review and approve estimates for accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales to identify bid issues, clarify scope with General Contractors, and make corrections as needed.
• Partner with project managers and clients to resolve technical questions and support project planning.
• Implement best practices to streamline the bidding process and support ongoing division growth.

• Experience estimating retaining walls, concrete structures, MSE systems, or similar scopes.
• Strong preconstruction or estimating leadership experience.
• Ability to read and interpret full plan sets (Arch/Struct/Civil/MEP).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and team‑leadership skills.
• Ability to manage high‑volume bids under tight deadlines.
