• Operate survey equipment (GPS, Conventional Instrumentation, Levels, Pipe Finders). Learn basic field calculations and procedures.
• Oversee equipment by making sure it is safely loaded, unloaded, and stored each working day.
• Download and uploads data everyday under the direction of Project Management Team. Prepare and manage supplies needed for survey jobs.
• Keep survey vehicles clean and organized and in proper working order. Prepare daily time sheets, data logs, expense reports, and field change orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Management Team.
• Ability to operate, adjust and maintain assigned equipment (GPS, levels, conventional survey equipment, pipe finders) is required.
• Must be willing to travel to multiple project locations and travel for out-of-town work as needed.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Essential Functions:
  
  Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, equipment, tools, etc.
• Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same.
• Must be alert to changing conditions in the field.
• Will work near construction job site equipment when in the field.
• Occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery.
• Occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
