Project Superintendent

J Kellam Builder is a high-end construction company specializing in new build luxury homes in Fort Worth and surrounding areas. We are a small company focused on building long-term relationships with clients and design partners.

• Coordinate and supervise crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials for multiple jobs, ensuring standards are achieved, project schedules are met and budgets are maintained.
• Supervise a team of workers, including managing work schedules, tracking project progress, and allocating resources.
• Coordinate job schedules, address changes, and resolve any construction issues.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure all work aligns with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
• Assist with the coordination of material and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers.
• Resolve or participate in resolving construction problems.
• Maintain a daily log of the job site’s operations, providing reports to management as necessary.
• Monitor compliance with safety program requirements, document findings, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Implement cost‑effective and efficient management techniques.
• Discuss potential changes to the job as needed to meet construction deadlines.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent of high‑end residential construction.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trades.
• Ability to read and interpret architecturally driven construction plans.
• Detail‑oriented with high quality standards.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• US work authorization.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Job Type: Full‑Time
