Hello Nanny! is partnering with a warm, Christian family in Fort Worth, Texas, who are seeking an experienced, caring part-time nanny for their 13-month-old daughter. The family values a nurturing, patient, and attentive caregiver who can support the child’s development, daily routines, and early learning in a safe and engaging environment.
The little one is curious, active, and full of personality. She is still learning to settle into her nap routine, sometimes resisting rest and only sleeping for short periods. The ideal caregiver will approach this with patience, consistency, and gentle guidance, helping the child feel secure while promoting healthy sleep habits and overall well-being.
The household also includes a friendly Rottweiler, who occasionally needs to be let outside, and two independent cats that require no care. This long-term, part-time role is perfect for a nanny who enjoys building a close partnership with parents, values open communication, and is passionate about fostering growth, curiosity, and happiness in young children.
Key ResponsibilitiesChildcare
- Provide attentive and compassionate care tailored to the developmental needs of a one-year-old
- Engage the child with age-appropriate activities that promote learning, exploration, and socialization
- Ensure the child’s safety at all times by maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment
- Follow daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and playtime schedules
- Communicate effectively with parents about the child’s progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Incorporate early childhood education principles to support growth in language, motor skills, and emotional regulation
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, meals, naps, and developmental observations
- Support the child’s nap routine with patience, consistency, and a developmentally appropriate approach to encourage rest and support the child’s overall well-being
Household Support
- Clean up after the child’s meals, snacks, and daily activities, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment
- Warm and serve pre-prepared meals and snacks for the child, accommodating dietary preferences and routines
- Maintain organized, sanitized, and inviting play and care areas to promote a safe and engaging environment
- Keep common areas of the home tidy, including living spaces, and shared rooms used by the child
- Highly experienced with infants and toddlers
- Calm, patient, nurturing, and emotionally attuned
- Energetic, dependable, and organized
- Familiar with behavior management strategies for young children, including sleep resistance
- Solutions-focused, proactive, and confident in making thoughtful decisions independently while collaborating effectively with parents
- Strong knowledge of childhood development stages, routines, and age-appropriate care practices
- Respectful of the family’s Christian values and lifestyle
- Comfortable working in a home with pets
- Passionate about early childhood care and development
- The ideal candidate works with another family PT or FT and is looking for an additional day per week
- 3-5 years of professional childcare experience, including infants and toddlers
- Proven experience in private nanny positions, daycare, or babysitting roles
- High school diploma required; college preferred
- CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Fully vaccinated, with the last vaccine administered at least six months ago
- Fluent in English; additional language skills (French, Creole, Spanish) a plus
- Non-smoker
