We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) as part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell"s High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft. This position is onsite at our Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX and will support Bell’s Aircraft Product Development Programs.

Supply Chain - Contracts (Across Multiple Levels)

Bring your experience and ideas to establish optimal long-term and high-dollar procurement contracts that enable the Supply Chain Organization and Programs to achieve its strategic objectives. This Contracting Professional works directly with the Integrated Products Team Lead and Program Team to identify and contract with the appropriate sources for new and existing aircraft subsystems.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluating new, current and existing suppliers for fit with strategic purchasing contracts, preparing and issuing requests for proposal (RFPs).
  • Facilitating the bid evaluation and down-selection process.
  • Prepares negotiation strategies and conducts contract negotiations, employing cost scenario models, contracting strategy techniques, and negotiation support tools to advance the commodity’s key supply chain objectives, and finalizes contract awards.
  • Negotiates with the supply base to meet internal objectives.
  • Build collaborative relationships with vendors and internally across Bell’s engineering, manufacturing, finance, and military program teams.
  • Ensures compliance with all government contracting regulations and internal administrative requirements with all activities.
Skills You Bring To This Role
  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier and Commodity Management, supplier relationships, Contracts, Supply Chain Management, project management.
  • Analytical experience in a commodity.
  • Supply chain management in new product development.
  • Experience applying Six Sigma / Lean Principles / Tools.
  • Preferred proficiency in SAP, CLM, ENOVIA, Qlik View, Power

    BI, or other similar software application.
  • Proficient business acumen.
  • Ability to deal well with ambiguity.
  • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
What you need to be successful
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
  • Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years' of general supply chain procurement experience.
  • Professional experience with DOD / USG Procurement Contracts for military / defense industry strategic sourcing is preferred.
