Overview
Our client is seeking an Construction
Office Administrator to support accounting and administrative functions for a commercial roofing contractor. This role plays a key part in keeping day-to-day office operations running smoothly, with a strong focus on billing, accounts payable and receivable, lien releases, and general construction-related administrative tasks.
This position is ideal for someone with construction office experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with accounting systems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Process billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable transactions
- Prepare and track lien releases and related documentation
- Support construction billing processes, including AIA billing as needed
- Maintain accurate financial and project-related records
- Assist with general construction administrative tasks and documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments
- Support month-end and routine accounting workflows
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Prior administrative or accounting experience in the construction industry preferred
- Experience with Quick Books required;
Quick Books Online (QBO) preferred - Familiarity with AIA billing strongly preferred
- Notary Public is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification once in the role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a construction environment
