Accounting Manager

CPG & Associates has been engaged by a manufacturing company in Fort Worth. We are looking for an Accounting Manager who will lead a small team in completing monthly corporate accounting & close activities and other analyses related to revenue recognition, inventory / fixed assets and consolidations. The preferred candidate will be a CPA with prior supervisory experience having five plus years of related accounting experience in a corporate accounting setting.

• Financial Reporting: Lead accurate U.S. GAAP statement preparation and technical accounting for complex business activities.
• Internal Controls: Direct SOX 404 compliance and partner with Internal Audit to strengthen the control environment.
• System Oversight: Manage Oracle account structures and classifications to ensure reporting integrity.
• Operational Accounting: Oversee reconciliations, intercompany activity, accruals, and asset valuation.
• Analysis & Cash Flow: Drive month-end close through trend analysis and detailed roll-forwards to support Cash Flow Statements

• Process Improvement: Author accounting policies and lead initiatives to gain operational efficiencies.
• People Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing corporate accounting team.
• Communication: Act as a cross-functional liaison for accounting treatment and business issues.

Base: $,000

Bonus: 10%

• Min 3 - 5 years of mixed experience preferred (public accounting and industry)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred
• Experience with Dynamics or related ERP highly preferred
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Experience in managing accounting for high growth company
