Our client is expanding, and they're looking for an experienced Upstream Oil & Gas Accountant to support their non-operated portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on accounting work, and wants to contribute to a high-growth, well-capitalized organization backed by private equity.
Key Responsibilities- Perform monthly analysis and reconciliation of the non-operated asset portfolio
- Process non-operated JIBs and revenue statements with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and record monthly cash activity and related journal entries
- Compile quarterly non-op accruals and support quarter - end financial reporting
- 3+ years of upstream oil & gas accounting experience, with strong exposure to non-operated assets
- Solid understanding of JIBs, revenue accounting, accruals, and upstream financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets; experience with industry accounting systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and support ad-hoc projects in a growing environment
