An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to work within the developing Drug & Alcohol Service in the beautiful rural location of Lochaber.
Relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available for eligible expenses.

- Provide high‑quality support to people presenting with drug and alcohol issues and addictions.
- Conduct assessment and facilitation of treatment of drug and alcohol related difficulties.
- Formulate and deliver plans of care, using current MAT standards and psychological interventions.
- Build excellent working relationships with police colleagues, A & E departments and GPs to facilitate safe discharge plans.
- Support the delivery of training to partner agencies as required.
- Assist other DARS practitioners and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care within the community.
- Highly skilled in assessment and facilitation of treatment of drug and alcohol related difficulties.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Good understanding and experience of assessing risk.
- Knowledge of current MAT standards and treatment options, alongside psychological interventions.
- Experience in a multi‑disciplinary working environment.
- Relocation allowance of up to £8,000.
