We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Full-Time Class A Regional CDL Driver for our evening/night shift, operating out of Fort Wayne, IN. The primary function of this role is to safely operate a Freightliner day cab (automatic) with a 53-foot dry van, completing daily drop-and-hook routes to deliver and retrieve freight within our regional network. This position requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and strict adherence to all transportation regulations.

• Safely operate a Class A CDL commercial vehicle over regional routes averaging 450–550 miles per shift.
• Follow assigned schedules to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of freight.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD), such as Samsara.
• Efficiently handle drop-and-hook and occasional live load/unload procedures.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, managers, and customers.
• Comply with all federal and state transportation regulations and company policies.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional Class A driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to pass a background check.
• Valid Medical Card and registration with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Strong time management skills and adaptability to changing conditions.
• Commitment to safety and excellent customer service.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Drivers are required to wear the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times:

• Steel-toe boots
• Safety vest (provided by Red Baron Transportation)

• Hourly Pay: $24 – $26 (based on experience)
