Position: Pre-School / Youth Sports Coordinator (Seasonal)

Pre‑School / Youth Sports Coordinator Summer Seasonal | 20–25 hours per week (PODS up to 40 hours) | Morning and/or evening shifts, Monday–Friday

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead and supervise Pre‑School and Youth Sports programs while supporting staff, engaging participants, and ensuring safe, fun, and well‑organized activities throughout the summer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee daily youth sports and recreation programs across assigned sites
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise staff while assigning tasks and ensuring policies are followed
  • Plan activities, review lesson plans, and ensure programs align with set themes
  • Track attendance, collect evaluations, and submit weekly summaries and reports
  • Maintain safety, discipline, and proper use of equipment and supplies
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of 2–3 seasonal staff members
  • Oversight of all children participating in assigned programs
What You Bring | Education & Experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • One or more years of college preferred in education, recreation, sports management, or a related field
  • Experience working with children ages 18 months–12 years
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and availability through program completion
Preferred Certifications
  • None required
  • Training provided, including safety, child protection, and program‑specific instruction
Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Ability to plan, document, and manage daily activities and attendance
  • Comfort enforcing policies, dress code, and safety procedures
  • Ability to work outdoors and in active environments
