Intern - Application Developer

This is a hybrid, year-round internship. The ideal candidate would begin working full-time in May, with part-time hours beginning in August.

In this role, you will…

* Develop and support the implementation of configurations in the Duck Creek Suite (Policy, Billing, Insights).

* Plan, execute, and document unit testing.

* Participate in peer reviews.

* Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and participate in the development sprints.

* Develop and support Proof of Concept (POC) projects as required.

* Provide product support and maintenance for products in production.

* Participate in developing documentation and job aid documents.

We are looking for candidates with…

* Active student with at least one year completed towards a BS degree in a computer science related major.

* Year-round availability to work onsite at Fort Wayne, IN Headquarters: 15-20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer.

* Experience with XML, XSLT and XPath.

* Experience in with the C#, .NET programming language.

* Experience with Angular frontend framework and JavaScript is preferred.

* Experience with SQL Database queries and stored procedures is preferred.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

* Excellent organizational, leadership and communication (verbal and written) skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.

* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

* Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
