Job Description Position Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and optimize PyQt6-based applications with a strong focus on multithreading, geospatial processing, and backend integration
. This role requires an active TS/SCI security clearance and an ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly technical environment.
- Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI (Required) - Programming
Languages:
Python (5+ years of experience) - Frameworks & Libraries:
Py Qt6 (including QThread, QRunnable, and signal-slot mechanisms
) - Multithreading & Asynchronous Programming:
Experience with
high‑performance, multi‑threaded applications - Geospatial Development: Strong background in GIS technologies and working with geospatial data
- Custom UI Development: Ability to build custom widgets, complex UI components, and optimized interfaces
- Performance Optimization: Experience implementing lazy loading, deferred initialization, and efficient threading
- Backend Integration:
Experience with
REST APIs, database management, and full‑stack development - Version Control &
Collaboration:
Experience with
Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- Geospatial Libraries & Tools:
Experience with
GDAL, Geo Pandas, PostGIS, or QGIS - Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Database Management:
Experience with
Postgre
SQL/PostGIS, SQLite, or No
SQL databases - Dev Ops & Containerization: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows
- Machine Learning & AI: Experience working with geospatial AI models or Python ML frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch)
- C++ or Rust
Experience:
Understanding of lower‑level programming languages for performance‑critical tasks - Frontend Web Development: Basic knowledge of JavaScript, React, or Vue.js for UI integration with backend services
- Experience with Enterprise Systems: Prior work integrating geospatial applications into enterprise environments
