Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Opportunity Overview

• Provide direct psychiatric patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a 120-bed inpatient facility
• Work weekends (must be willing to commit to a minimum of one weekend a month)
• Hours 8-5 (with some scheduling flexibility)
• Collaborate with nurse practitioner
• Typical case load 12-16 patients/day
• Primarily inpatient, may include occasional coverage of IOP
• Unit has UR and social worker
• Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage
• Access to Team Health's clinician wellness program and referral program
• Developed infrastructure with extensive back-office support as well as local management

Requirements

• Must be board certified/eligible
• Must be licensed in the state of Indiana

Compensation

• Competitive weekend stipend
• Extra pay for: quality bonus, after hour call coverage (rotation/voluntary), weekday coverage (voluntary), and nurse practitioner collaboration
