Job Description

Ceramic Tile Installer

Jack Laurie Group is actively hiring Ceramic Tile Installers / Tile Setters to join our growing team. Since 1950, we have been a leader in flooring and tile installation throughout the Midwest and continue to set the standard for quality craftsmanship.

If you have experience installing ceramic, porcelain, or stone tile and take pride in your work, we want to talk with you.

Responsibilities
  • Install ceramic, porcelain, and other tile materials on floors and walls
  • Cut and shape tile to fit around corners, drains, and obstacles
  • Install tile using mortar, mastic, cement, or adhesives
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and waterproofing when necessary
  • Follow project layouts, blueprints, and installation plans
  • Ensure tile patterns are straight, level, and properly aligned
  • Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
Requirements
  • Experience as a Tile Installer, Tile Setter, or Flooring Installer preferred
  • Ability to use tile saws, hand tools, and installation equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and work on knees for extended periods
  • Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday
