Job Overview

Bluestone Pools is seeking a skilled and dependable Pool Construction Foreman / Crew Lead to lead our Field Operations team on residential swimming pool construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires deep knowledge of construction best practices, equipment operation, concrete finishing, and jobsite management. As Foreman, you’ll oversee on-site crews, maintain project timelines, and ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead construction crews on residential pool installation projects.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Finish concrete to high-quality standards as part of pool and hardscape construction.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately.
  • Manage jobsite tasks, workflow, and personnel to maintain productivity and timelines.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with crew members, management, and clients.
  • Train and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency.
  • Complete all work with attention to detail, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, with foreman or crew leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in equipment operation, particularly loaders and excavators.
  • Proficient in concrete finishing and general construction practices.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and manage day-to-day jobsite operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Dependable, hard-working, and results-driven.
  • Patient and composed, yet able to manage a team with authority.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Dependable transportation to and from work.
  • No formal education required—experience and work ethic are what count most.
