Reports to:
Plant Manager
.
Ultimately responsible for preventative and diagnostic maintenance of equipment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of machinery.
- Support with machine improvement and the installation of new equipment.
- Must have controls, robot programming, and automation experience.
- Complete TPM activities on workshop equipment.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints to perform required maintenance and service.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor.
- Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards.

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in Industrial Maintenance, technical field or technical schooling.
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills a plus.
- Automation experience a plus.
- Well versed in standard preventative maintenance protocols.
- Proficient in use of hand tools, power tools, shop equipment and appropriate PPE.
- Proficient in metal cutting, welding, drilling and tapping.
- Working knowledge of PLC and relay logic control systems.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic devices and controls.
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems and LOTO procedures.
- Previous experience maintaining air compressors a plus.
- Ability to perform active job duties that require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing.
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs.
