Facility Systems Technician

We are currently seeking a full-time, onsite
Facility Systems Technician in our Operations and Maintenance division. This position performs general maintenance and repairs buildings and equipment. The hourly pay is $19.50.

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to critical work order repairs.
• Identify and diagnose problems with electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Monitor BAS, temperatures, pressures, flow rates and assist in logging equipment recordings.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and perform mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic maintenance and repair, including dismantling to access and remove defective parts.
• Fabricate, replace, repair, clean and maintain equipment, tools and shop area.
• Order and maintain an inventory of essential parts and supplies; maintain accurate repair records.
• Assist other Facilities departments in performing a variety of tasks based on departmental needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• The ability to move, lift, carry, push and pull 25 to 50 pounds frequently, up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• The ability to work at various heights on ladder, bucket trucks, etc.
• This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• Shift will be 2:30pm - 10:30pm, with rotating weekends.

• Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and preventive maintenance experience.
• Commercial or industrial experience.
