Position: Heavy Equipment Service Technician (Shop-Based)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana

Compensation: $22.00‑$48.00 per hour based on experience and certifications

Overtime: Available and paid at time +

We’re looking for a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to join our growing team.

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of equipment
  • Dirt movers
  • Lifts
  • Paving and milling machines
  • Environmental equipment
• Conduct functionality and safety tests
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain issues
• Utilize laptops and tablets to run diagnostics
• Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Follow all OSHA and EPA safety standards
• Stay current on training and manufacturer certifications

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3 years in shop or field service repair
• Technical Skills
  • Strong 12/24 volt electrical and hydraulic knowledge
  • Proficiency with diagnostics tools and software
• Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and crawl without restrictions
• Other Requirements
  • High school diploma or trade school certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen (includes testing for medical marijuana)
