The Security Officer ensuresefficient and professional security operations at work sites within theappointed region. This position is a working level Security Officer whoactively work onsite, securing the client’s property, location and deterringsuspicious activity. Security Officers will report any suspicious activityimmediately to the Security Corporal on location. Perform all essential functions of a Security Officer while at appointedsite.

The Security Officer ensures efficient and professional security operations at special events throughout various seasons. When working this position, the hours andshifts may be intermittent and temporary, with the possibility of moving to permanent shifts, depending on the season and the event type. Event typesinclude, but are not limited to:
Beach patrols, Golf course events, Festivals,Concerts, Professional outings, Lobby services, Sporting events, and General eventsecurity. Security Officers will report any suspicious activity immediately tothe Security Corporal, on duty Security Sergeant, or Regional Manager. Perform all essential functions of a Security Officerwhile at appointed site.

• Work to ensure thatthe assigned premises are kept safe and secure
• Regular walks aroundassigned perimeter
• Move blocker vehiclesas needed
• Communicate effectively and regularly to team using assigned radio
• Identify and correctinefficiencies, liabilities, and safety hazards at appointed site
• Follow procedures tohandling gates, lights, and visitor check ins
• Monitor assignedlocation with high degree of attentiveness to surroundings at appointed site
• Provide detailedinformation to authorities as needed
• Have NO use of forceto protect property – Secure and Report ONLY
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidentialsituations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
• Utilize the company’scurrent scheduling and approving her/his weekly hours for payroll
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to other related software
• Judgement and highlevel of integrity
• High initiative and reliability
• Ability to work in aculture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
• Safely and legallyoperate a motor vehicle;
  Must have a valid and current Driver’s License

• Must be able to situpright, stand, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed
• Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move as needed to secure premises
• Must be able to engagequickly physically to de-escalate or respond to security or safety threats
• Must be able to regularlyget in and out of vehicles to perform tasks including moving blocker vehiclesas needed
• Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people,things, behavior, and speech.
• Must be able to liftup to 25 lbs.

• Involves work assignments that vary in days of the week and time of day to relate to the 24/7security operations of the client
• Travel to other locations may be needed
• Both indoors and outdoors possible, regardless of weather
• Must be able to work2 weekends per month
• If Special Events Security Officer – hours will vary are based off event schedule

• High school diplomaor GED
• Required to makeany/all continued training/education classes provided by Premier Security Solutions,relevant to position
• Law enforcement,public safety, or military experience, preferred
