Description
Hydrotech Isaacs Fluid Power Equipment Company is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to build strong customer relationships, uncover new opportunities, and drive profitable growth within an assigned territory. If you're energized by solving problems, presenting value-driven solutions, and helping customers succeed, this role gives you the autonomy and support to thrive.
What You'll Do
- Proactively engage new and existing customers to understand their needs
- Identify opportunities where our fluid power products and services add value
- Deliver persuasive product presentations and solution-based recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams and supplier partners to support customer needs
- Develop accurate quotes and proposals while balancing customer value and profitability
- Upsell, cross-sell, and recommend alternatives to maximize customer success
- Build trust-based relationships and maintain regular communication
- Track opportunities, maintain CRM records, and provide timely reporting
- Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitive positioning
- 3+ years of inside or outside sales experience
- Technical or mechanical aptitude (fluid power experience a plus)
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to sell consultatively and adapt solutions to customer needs
- Solid organizational skills and comfort with CRM/ERP systems
- Ability to work independently from office, home, or in the field
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Approximately 40 hours per week, with flexibility for customer needs
- Work from office, home, or customer locations
- Occasional travel for customer visits or supplier training
- Company-provided computer, phone, and required safety gear
