Specialty Rep
Responsibilities- Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen s products and effectively communicate the clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization of the products.
- Act as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through both in-person and virtual engagement.
- Develop relationships to service and manage accounts by understanding customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/reimbursing reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze the effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
- Demonstrate passion for Amgen s products throughout the sales cycle and uphold the brand while serving patients.

- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree
- OR Associate s degree and 4 years of Sales experience
- OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
- Preferred Qualifications
- Sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, healthcare medical device or medical supply industries
- Some experience and/or pre-graduate sales training and/or proven track record of successful leadership under pressure preferred
- Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases
- Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills with a focus on sales outcomes
- Local market knowledge
- Bachelor s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
