Summary of position
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and building relationships with customers in the Ag, O&G, PEI and Heavy Industrial markets. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and a proven track record to identify, facilitate and close business opportunities in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Develop & execute a regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue growth targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned retail markets and channels.
- Manage and expand relationships with key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to build informed sales strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of manufactured rep agencies, fostering share-of-mind and a high-performance culture.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics for senior leadership.
- Represent Fill-Rite at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of industrial sales strategies in assigned markets.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software (ie: Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong customer relationships through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experienced with Web Based and Windows applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of E-Comm strategies a plus
BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related field of study preferred
Experience Requirements5+ years of successful outside sales experience (including both national & regional accounts)
Physical Demands- Must be willing to travel 65-70% of the time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs safely, by hand
