Summary of position

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and building relationships with customers in the Ag, O&G, PEI and Heavy Industrial markets. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and a proven track record to identify, facilitate and close business opportunities in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities
  • Develop & execute a regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue growth targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned retail markets and channels.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to build informed sales strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of manufactured rep agencies, fostering share-of-mind and a high-performance culture.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics for senior leadership.
  • Represent Fill-Rite at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of industrial sales strategies in assigned markets.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (ie: Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications / Training / Skill Requirements
  • Strong customer relationships through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experienced with Web Based and Windows applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of E-Comm strategies a plus
Education Requirements

BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related field of study preferred

Experience Requirements

5+ years of successful outside sales experience (including both national & regional accounts)

Physical Demands
  • Must be willing to travel 65-70% of the time
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs safely, by hand
