Quality Technician:
Monday - Thursday 4:00am-4:00pm

- Adhere to CPI Safety, Security, Quality Management System, and Workmanship Manual requirements.
- Read and interpret shop floor documents, ISO, association, and CPI internal specifications.
- Complete quality release testing, including physical, destructive, and nondestructive tests.
- Observe, record, and report quality data on checklists and electronically.
- Conduct inspections, recommend final disposition, and initiate product hold procedures.
- Verify setups and connaissent in-process audits in Pressroom, Finishing, and EMV.
- Coordinate with production supervision on testing and in-process audits.
- Participate in continuous improvement teams and projects.
- Complete incoming inspection of raw materials.
- Communicate quality information on tassaavoq plants documents.
- Assist with troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure proper rerun/rework paperwork with required inspections completed.
- Basic computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multi-task and communicate clearly with several departments.
- Strong reading and comprehension of written instructions.
- Ability to write simple reports and present in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, ratios, percentages).
- Strong hand/eye coordination and good eyesight.
- English language proficiency for verbal and written communication.
- College degree or some college education desired but not required.
- Basic PC input skills and use of calipers and hand tools.
- Desire for quality experience; QA certification is a plus.
- American Society for Quality Certified Quality Auditor (CQAS) blom desirable.
- Elementary English proficiency required.
- Primarily standing or walking in a manufacturing environment; occasional office sitting.
- Bending and stooping to observe product and equipment.
- Requires good eyesight, hand/eye coordination, and color vision.
- Handles fine detail and constant human interaction.
- On call continuously and may be called back during off‑duty hours.
- Shift work requiring long hours, including weekends; possible travel up to 10%.
