Description:

The position involves providing nursing care to a diverse population of patients with varying diagnoses.
Patients may have chronic illnesses such as COPD, Diabetes, Chronic Heart Failure, and end-stage renal disease.
The role includes managing gastrointestinal issues, infections, and neurological issues.
We also care for patients with mental health disorders including depression and anxiety.
Nursing duties include assessments, care planning, inter-professional communication, and utilizing electronic health records.
Required skills include IV therapy management, care planning, and wound management.
The equipment utilized includes electronic health records systems, IV pumps, telemetry monitoring, and blood glucose monitoring devices.
Patient ratios are typically 1:5-6.
Ohio license or compact license required.
Candidates must complete supplemental training prior to beginning their role.
The role requires flexibility to float to other medical units as needed.
3 weekend shifts are required within a 4-week schedule.
Candidates may also be required to adapt to different medical and surgical procedures based on patient needs.
