Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Med Surgical / Telemetry
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours:

• 72 hours bi-weekly

• EMR: Cerner
  Floating: Required

• Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Every other weekend and holidays required

• Block scheduling approved

• Call requirements are voluntary

Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Neuro Spine Med-Surg / Telemetry RN for a high-acuity unit caring for complex neurological, spinal, and medical patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, advanced neuro assessment skills, and comfort managing post-operative and trauma-related care.

• Number of beds: 24

• Patient ratios: 1:5 or 1:6

• Floating required within skillset

Higher-acuity Med-Surg/Telemetry patient population including:

• Stroke and seizure patients

• Post-operative neuro and spinal surgery patients

• Level II trauma patients

• Level I trauma post-ICU care

• Additional diagnoses including DKA, renal failure, and general post-operative care

• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments

• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and clinical judgment

• Manage surgical drains and post-operative neuro/spine care

• Chest tube management

• Groin site management post-interventional radiology procedures

• Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care

• Accurately document care in Cerner EMR

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

• BLS Certification required

• ACLS Certification required

• NIHSS Certification required
