Shift and Compensation

1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm, $17.00/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Steamer Assembly Technician located in Fort Wayne, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality steamers according to specified guidelines and ensuring they meet our performance and safety standards.

Job Duties

Assemble steamers using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical specifications.

Conduct inspections of assembled units to verify functionality, quality, and compliance with company standards.

Identify and resolve assembly issues, ensuring timely production flow and minimizing downtime.

Maintain accurate records of production activities, including assembly processes, quality checks, and any issues encountered.

Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and maintain a positive work environment.

Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Background Profile

Minimum of 2-3 years assembly experience
HSD/GED required
Lifting up to 50lbs
Requires a fine motor skill test, a written and math test
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
