The hourly rate for this position is $31.38 – $38.98 per hour, with a shift differential of $2.00 per hour. The hiring wage range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual wage rates will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.

A very experienced Industrial Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Technician who enjoys diagnosing electrical problems and keeping manufacturing equipment running is sought. This role focuses on electrical troubleshooting and repair of 480 V electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLC‑controlled equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Expert troubleshooting:
Locate and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures using meters, detailed prints, and schematics. - Electrical mastery:
Repair and maintain high‑voltage systems (480 V), motors, switches, and automated controls. - PLC diagnostic:
Use PLC experience to identify issues and restore production (programming not required; ladder logic knowledge is a plus). - Preventative maintenance:
Execute planned and predictive maintenance on conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machinery. - Safe operations:
Perform complex wiring and repairs in compliance with Arc Flash safety standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. - Collaboration:
Partner with engineers and production teams to suggest improvements and reduce downtime.
- 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical troubleshooting.
- Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting 480 V electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
- PLC experience; programming is NOT required.
- Knowledge of Arc Flash safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training in electrical or industrial maintenance preferred.
