Responsibilities- Operates industrial fork truck, or electric hoist safely, to assist in loading or moving materials and products
- Loads/Unloads materials from heavy truck operator and vendor vehicles
- Stage material as needed per job, to eliminate interruption in production flow
- Opens containers, notes damages, and records quantities, as required
- Receives and signs/dates packing slips, and stocks material in its assigned locations
- Create and maintain labelled, clean, and easily interpreted stock areas
- Tracks and cycle counts inventory
- Secures lifting attachments to materials and transfers load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination
- Counts, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
- Assembles crates to contain products such as raw or finished parts
- Must be certified for forklift operation by DMCO
- Must have clear driving record
- Must obtain and maintain a Health Card
- Must be able to operate stake truck
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be proactive and a self-starter
- Must have good attendance
