Job Description1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CNC Mill / Lathe Machinist to join our 1st shift team. This role requires hands-on setup, programming, and machining expertise in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to machine weldments, plates, and miscellaneous components
Safely handle and position parts during setup and production
Program at the machine using G-code and/or conversational programming
Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and technical drawings
Apply strong working knowledge of GD&T principles
Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
Operate additional toolroom equipment as needed
RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of CNC mill and/or lathe machining experience
Proficiency in machine setup and on-machine programming
Mastercam experience preferred
Solid understanding of tooling, feeds, and speeds
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
