The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance of a manufacturing facility producing engineered motion control products. This senior leadership role oversees production operations, ensures safe and efficient manufacturing processes, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and delivers results aligned with strategic and financial objectives.

• Lead, plan, and manage all plant operations including production, quality, safety, maintenance, and materials.
• Establish and execute strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, cost control, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure manufacturing goals are met for quality, output, and customer service.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams to drive accountability and engagement.
• Champion lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with engineering and quality teams to support process improvements and new product launches.
• Promote a strong safety culture with proactive risk identification and mitigation.
• Oversee quality systems to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage the plant operating budget.
• Analyze performance data and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 7-10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a production environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Union experience is required.
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools preferred.
