Responsibilities
- Sort through UPS shipments daily and ensure that packages are delivered to the correct department, cabinet, or storage area.
- Verify the bin locations in E10 for all purchased components and ensure that components are delivered to the proper bin or location.
- Maintain proper bin levels for purchased components and keep the area clean and organized.
- Perform monthly purchased component cycle counts.
- Be responsible for all delivery and pickup of subcontract goods using the company vehicle.
- Run errands as needed to businesses such as Home Depot, Meijer, etc.
- Must successfully complete forklift training and hold a valid forklift license.
- All other duties assigned.
This position has no supervisory duties.
EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Certifications, Licenses, and RegistrationsThe position requires the employee to successfully complete forklift training and hold a valid forklift license.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routing reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with vendors and employees in the organization.
Math SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
Reasoning SkillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume.
