Role Overview
The Paid Media Intern will support the Paid Media team in execution, management, and optimization of paid media campaigns across various channels (Traditional, Digital, CRM, and Email). This position is anticipated to work approximately 20 hours per week onsite in Ferguson’s Fort Wayne office conveniently located at Electric Works. Scheduling can be flexible to align with school schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Support traditional and digital media buyers with day-to-day campaign execution, optimization, and reporting
- Assist in building, trafficking, and updating digital campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, and programmatic platforms
- Coordinate creative asset delivery, trafficking, QA, and launch schedules.
- Assist with competitive research, audience research, and media landscape analysis
- Help gather and organize specs and creative assets for traditional and digital media channels
- Monitor campaign pacing, budgets, and performance metrics; flag issues and opportunities for optimization.
- Assist in preparing regular performance reports and insights for internal teams and clients.
- Help with email campaign setup, QA, segmentation, and scheduling
- Stay current on media trends, platform updates, and emerging advertising opportunities
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail are critical for managing media budgets and tracking campaign details.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across teams and vendors using project management tools.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for budget tracking and data manipulation; familiarity with digital advertising platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
- Positive attitude and openness to feedback.
- Successful completion of or actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field required.
- Previous internship experience in digital marketing, paid media, project coordination, or similar helpful, but not required.
- Exposure to platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Linked In Ads, or programmatic tools useful.
- Previous experience and familiarity with project management processes and tools such as Trello, Workamajig, or similar systems are helpful.
- Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time, particularly while working on a computer.
- Ability to alternate sitting, standing, and walking frequently.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of items up to 25 lbs.
