Systems Administrator

Description - Hybrid in Fort Wayne IN - W2 only
We're seeking a Systems Administrator to provide day-to-day support for our clients infrastructure with a strong emphasis on server deployment, patching, automation, and security. This role partners closely with Systems Engineers to implement new technologies, harden Windows and Red Hat Linux servers, and improve operational efficiency through documentation, scripting, and process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for configuration, deployment, and maintenance of the infrastructure-emphasizing server deployment, patching, and security.
Assist Systems Engineers with implementation of new technologies.
Implement and document system configuration changes and updates.
Recommend and implement server/service configuration changes and operational procedures to increase efficiency.
Assist with trouble tickets as needed.
Contribute to documentation and testing of Disaster Recovery procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of relevant IT infrastructure/Systems Administration experience (preferred).
1+ years experience with Ivanti Security Controls or similar server patching tools.
2+ years experience scripting and automation with Power Shell.
Experience deploying hardened/secured Windows and Red Hat Linux servers.

Experience with security review and remediation processes and procedures.

Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable.io (or similar).
Knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO-working knowledge acceptable).
Microsoft:
Active Directory / Azure AD, Exchange 2016 / Exchange Online, Windows Server .
Linux: RHEL 7.0+ administration and hardening.
Virtualization: VMware vSphere administration.
Networking & Security:
Basic DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS concepts.
Backups:
Virtual/Cloud/O365/Tape;
Veeam a plus.
Storage:
Net App FAS/AFF (iSCSI/CIFS) a plus.
Tooling:
Python, Bash, Ansible, Bitbucket, Git (nice to have).
Strong documentation habits, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to lead projects and effectively multitask; strong time management.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
