Position: Human Resources Manager
Reports to: Corporate Counsel and Project Executive
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000
We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.
Superior is looking for a Human Resources Manager to help lead a broad range of HR initiatives including employee relations, investigations, and new employee onboarding. This position is based on a jobsite in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with travel to other Indiana jobsites as needed to provide support and oversight.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for human resources issues in a fast-paced environment
- Manage employee relations, conduct sensitive investigations, and oversee disciplinary processes
- Help new employees become “Day 1” ready by driving HR onboarding action items and coordination
- Run pre-employment checks, including background screenings and verifications
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records to support field
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies at the jobsite level in Indiana
- Maintains oversight of HR documentation and compliance tracking
- Prepare reports and provide general administrative support to the project leaders
- You’re passionate about people and motivating others around you
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You’re able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when dealing with data and sensitive information
- You’re organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail
- You’re a team player and feel comfortable collaborating with colleagues across all levels of the organization
- Required:
You have at least 5 years of experience in HR management and compliance - Bonus Points:
You have earned your Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field - Bonus Points:
You have experience with OSHA requirements, investigations, and/or labor relations under a collective bargaining agreement
