Housekeeping and Laundry Attendant – 3rd Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping and Laundry Attendant to join our Assisted Living Community. The candidate will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, performing housekeeping duties and managing laundry services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Manage laundry services, assisting residents with washing, drying, and folding.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and laundry materials are stocked and organized.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in maintaining a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning and laundry tasks.

Requirements

• Must have or be able to obtain First Aid and CPR Certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of laundry areas, for sanitation, order, and safety.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions regarding mixing cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
• Maintain confidentiality of all employee and resident care information.
