Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Wayne, IN, for a Staff Pharmacist at an FQHC.
As a Pharmacist, you will oversee and enforce the polices, procedures, and day-to-day operations related to the in-house pharmacy and facilitate the 340B Program. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures. They will also provide assistance in inventory management, collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication use, and provide drug-related expertise to support patient care. This role requires a commitment to exceptional patient service and maintaining high-quality standards in pharmacy operations.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of prescription verification, medication dispensing, and pharmaceutical best practices
- Excellent patient counseling and communication skills
- Experience with pharmaceutical inventory management and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in collaborating with healthcare teams and utilizing technology for prescription management
- Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Indiana, or eligible for licensure
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in medication preparation and dispensing
- Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in outpatient or community health pharmacy settings is preferred
- 340B experience is preferred but not required.
