RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Every other weekend rotation required

• Block scheduling option available

• Guaranteed hours: 72 or 96 hours per duration

• 13-week contract duration

• Must work holidays scheduled during contract period unless covered by regular staff

• Care for cardiac telemetry patients with various cardiac diagnoses including A-Fib RVR, chest pain, CHF, and medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring

• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6

• 24-bed unit

• Required to interpret telemetry strips and administer cardiac medications (PO, IVP, and IV drip)

• Responsibilities include charting assessments, bedside shift reports, and ensuring patient safety

• Floating to other units required

• 2 years of experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Indiana RN license

• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
